Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SteadyStation website and productivity application (the "Service") operated by SteadyStation ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

2. Your Account

To use the Service, you must create an account by signing in with Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised.

3. Plans and Subscriptions

Free Plan

SteadyStation offers a free plan with access to core productivity features. The free plan may have limitations on certain features or usage compared to the Pro plan.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan is available as a paid subscription and provides access to additional features and capabilities. Details of current pricing and features are available on our website.

  • Billing. Pro plan subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase). You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for recurring fees.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription pricing from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price increase. Continued use of the Pro plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Free trial. If we offer a free trial of the Pro plan, you may be required to provide payment information. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Upload, transmit, or store any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or automated bulk requests
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without our written permission
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you engage in any prohibited conduct.

5. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all data, text, files, and other content you create, upload, or store through the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that it does not violate these Terms, any applicable law, or the rights of any third party. We do not monitor or review Your Content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Future Sharing Features

We may introduce features that allow you to share or collaborate on content with other users. When such features are available, additional terms may apply to shared content. You will be notified of any such terms before using sharing features.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, branding, logos, and documentation (excluding Your Content), is owned by SteadyStation and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, trade names, or branding.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services, including:

  • Vercel - hosting and infrastructure
  • Neon - database services
  • Google - authentication, analytics, and tag management (Google Tag Manager)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may also update these features included in the free and Pro plans at our discretion.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STEADYSTATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS A FREE AND PAID PRODUCTIVITY TOOL PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY. STEADYSTATION ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ERRORS, INTERRUPTIONS, DATA LOSS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SteadyStation and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lithuania.

Nothing in this section limits your right to bring proceedings in your local courts if applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction grant you that right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and, where appropriate, notifying you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SteadyStation regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
